Previo-AI is a Raava plan for automated financial dashboards built on Xero data with open-source tools. Small businesses on Xero often report from spreadsheet exports because commercial BI tools cost more than they can justify. The idea is to do the integration once, so a business can deploy role-based dashboards without that bill.
It is at the planning stage. I have prototyped the ETL against the Xero sandbox and designed the database schema. Nothing is deployed for a client.
The plan
Planned data flow
Connections: Xero to n8n ETL; n8n ETL to Supabase; Supabase to Metabase.
n8n and Metabase would share one small VPS through Docker Compose. Supabase and Vercel free tiers would cover the database and the portal. The hosting target is about $15 a month. That is a target from the plan, not a measured cost.
Why these tools
Building charts from scratch would mean maintaining query, export and alerting code indefinitely. Metabase already has them. I chose it over Apache Superset because its signed-URL embedding works without a commercial licence when self-hosted, which matters when the portal, not the BI tool, is what users see.
Status
Planning. ETL prototyped against the Xero sandbox, schema designed, portal scaffolding in progress. The first milestone would be three dashboards: income against expenses, budget tracking, and year-to-date and month-to-date views.
